String Pillow Concert in Russe

March 19th, 2017 (Sunday)
11:00, 17:00
March Music Days Festival,
Regional Museum of History,
3, Alexander Battenberg Square, Russe

Known as the favourite classical event of both little ones and grown ups, the Pillow Concerts are visiting Russe for the third consecutive year upon the kind invitation by the March Music Day Festival. This time the children will meet the string instruments – the gentle violin, the beautiful viola, the singing violoncello and the giant among them – the double bass.

The musicians from the 12 ensemble are flying all the way from London where they are known as some of the most popular and exciting performers. All guests are invited to decorate their own pillow as a souvenir before the concert, and afterwards the most curious ones can learn interesting facts about the instruments and the famous composers included in the programme such as J.S. Bach, Schubert, W.A. Mozart and Brahms.
