The magic in music is never ending as this form of art is always capable of enchanting children and grown ups throughout the world. The great composers love to include unusual stories in their works and are especially successful in making them believable through the means of sound.
Besides having a sorcerer and an evil queen, Mozart included magic bells and a magic flute in his famous opera about Tamino and Pamina’s love story. Tamino’s magic flute helps him overcome various difficult tasks as its melodies transform sorrow into joy.
Anatoli Lyadov paints the scary Baba Yaga in his musical painting and the great Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky recreates a number of magical moments in his impressive ballets. “Swan lake” tells the story of a flock of swans that turns out to be a bewitched princess and her companions but having a human appearance during the night.

Love, of course, is the cure for the beautiful Odette and her beloved, prince Siegfried.Another one of Tchaikovsky’s masterpieces is the Nutcracker ballet. At Christmas night, the toys become alive and lead a fierce battle with the mice. Clara helps the nutcracker-prince to win and the two head to the Land of Sweets. Magical festivities with sweets from around the world await for them but, unfortunately, Clara wakes up with the nutcracker toy in her hands. It was all but just a dream…
The musical magic will be recreated by the four talented hands of pianists Lili Bogdanova and Ines Simeonova. Simona Kovacheva will play the role of Zuzi – the musical muse who will help us transfer into this magical world.
