The Venice Carnival – one of the most magnificent and impressive celebrations in the world is at its peak and we will celebrate its traditions with a real Venetian concert. Balls, dances, masks and gondoliers – all of them will take part in our programme of the first concert in the new year. The brilliant violinist Ivaylo Danailov will appear as the fiery Italian virtuoso Nicolo Paganini. His musical partners on the stage will be violoncellist Petar Kushlev and pianist Nona Krincheva.
For a truthful carnival day, we invite our little and grown-up admirers to create the most beautiful masks and to go through the most enjoyable dancing steps. The costume competition will this time focus on choosing the Princess and Prince of the Ball. In case you can’t manage with the preparations beforehand, please come an hour early and take part in the Pillow Workshop where elements of the carnival outfit will be created and decorated.
