The last Pillow Concert for the season will meet us with the violin’s elder sister. We will enjoy the deep, velvety warm voice of the viola on May 19th at 11:00 and at 17:00. We will also have the privilege to listen to one of the most prominent Bulgarian viola players in London – Elitsa Bogdanova in the Union of Architects in Bulgaria at 11, Krakra Str. Elitsa is much in demand at the high class Baroque ensembles in UK and comes to Sofia specially for the Viola Pillow Concert. Her younger sister Lili Bogdanova is a phenomenon amongst the piano players from the National Music School in Sofia where she is graduating this year.
Lili has received numerous awards and played plenty of concerts in the Czech Republic, UK, USA, Romania, Switzerland, Greece. She will accompany Elitsa on the grand piano. The two sisters will present a predominantly Romantic programe with works by Brahms, Bruch, Schumann and Bridge.
The Onche Bonche creative team will be leading the traditional free Pillow Workshop one hour before the start of both concerts at 10:00 and 16:00 respectively.
